Leaving for Spain

The planning is over and the doing starts tomorrow. I'm in Vancouver and leave for Spain in the afternoon. I fly to Frankfurt then on to Barcelona, like this...

I'll take a train to L'Espluga de Francoli where (for the first half of my trip) I'll be staying for three weeks with a Spanish host family who I discovered on workaway.info. The guy, Pep, wants to learn some English, of which I'm hoping he has as little command as I have of Spanish. He sounds like a really nice person with lots in common. I can't wait to meet him and his wife.

This will be the end of my trip on Friday, although the green line is the road, not the train route.
